Hi again, I’m back with yet another Lush post xD. I mentioned the spoilers a while ago, and now it’s here: my Lush Kitchen Box August 2023! This is my first month ever getting the Lush Kitchen Box since it launched in the U.S. I remember ordering from the Lush Kitchen back when it was a UK exclusive. I am enjoying bathing again as I relaunch myself into shared public spaces.
A lot of people were reporting they received theirs damaged and coming in late, they should arrive around the 5th of each month. How it was stupid of Lush to ship a packaging-less. They make a big deal that the kitchen box be as plastic-free and naked as possible, but often to the detriment of loyal fans who get their orders, all melted into a sticky mess.
I was lucky to get mine in one piece, and it’s honestly gorgeous! It has made my room smell so minty and like a Lush store.
I myself am pretty happy with the selection of products since I know it’s all stuff I can use up.
I think the colors in this box go so well together! All the naked products look good together too. I love minty scents so I loved everything in this box.
What came in the Lush Kitchen Box August 2023?
Lush Melomint Bubble Bar. Don’t really care for bubble bars, but they do help make the bath nice and silky.
Lush Ice Blue Soap. This was drying like all other Lush soaps I’ve used. It lasted well, though.
World Piece Bath Bomb, so cute <3
Pros:
- I love all the blues and greens
- I’m a fan of minty scents so this box was a hit for me
- Makes your room/house smell amazing
Cons:
- Don’t really care for bubble bars
- Those without a bathtub won’t be able to use some of these items.
- Performance on the bath bomb was kind of weak
