Ngl i’m starting to find my obsession with documenting my trash weird too, don’t worry.. However despite the extra effort it takes to document, I think it’s still an interesting study in analyzing one’s waste. I’m still working on posting my August empties, but strangely that one was like 90% feminine hygiene products. As I imagined, September was more tactical.. I’m analyzing the months now through the commonalities i’m noticing in my empties. This month I did not obsessively keep everything. Gonna keep focusing on beauty products since this is primarily a beauty blog, lmao.

  • Glossier Lip Gloss, WRP. Best lip gloss i’ve used.

  • Nature’s Bounty D3, WNRP. Random supplement I found that I used up. I think D3 is effective, would just prefer a different brand.
  • Liquid Chlorophyll, WNRP. These are unreliable often, would rather just juice greens to get chlorphyll

Barbie x Lush Collab Collection 2023

Hi y’all, it’s been a lil quiet here lately and I will admit my posts aren’t that engaging rn lmao. I’ve just been getting up some random stuff as I build the site.

Lush just launched a collab with Barbie today, Barbie x Lush, and I’ll admit it’s kind of disappointing. I’m kind of sick of all the pink at this point and I say this as a pink lover. Sometimes, pink doesn’t look good and I feel like this collab reflects that… any sort of collaboration right now, especially with Barbie, feels like a cash grab.

That being said, they have released a new scent with this series i’d be curious to smell in person. You can pre-order the products on their app now, some being region locked.

Difeel Rosemary 7 Mint Leave-in Conditioning Spray WNRP – greasy horrible mess

Redken Frizz Dismiss Rebel Tame Leave-in Cream WNRP – decent, works for air dried hair, wouldnt recommend for heat styling

Sunbabe Hair Lightening Mist WRP – does help to lighten my hair, but can make hair very dry and stiff, be careful and take breaks when using. Could keep u from being a canidate for bleaching

L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil WNRP – terrible packaging, subpar oil. Nothing compared to my favorite Kerastase Elixir Ultime

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Oatmeal Mask WNRP – Not the best texture, worked ok. But didn’t care for the user experience or packaging. 

Beauty of Joseon RElief Sun: Rice + Probiotics SPF 50+ PA++++ WRP – Left something to be desired but overall was a better sunscreen. Makes me flush from the niacinamide and not a huge fan of the smell. Fragrance Free tho

Dieux Insant Angel Lipid Rich Moisturizer x2 WNRP – not moisturizing enough on its own, tacky texture, needs other prodcucts to work well… packaging is annoying af

Kate Blanc Organic Castor Oil WNRP – I want to get a better quality castor oil, one i can trust more than one i found on amazon

 

Makeup 

Cheap Beauty Blender knock-off WRP my main way of doing makeup is with cheap sponges so I will keep buying these until I get like a Dior foundation brush

L’OrealDouble Extend Mascara WNRP got this for free from a neighbor on Nextdoor which was cool, but not one I would purchase myself

Kérastase Haul

Hi Y’all, I’ve got a Kérastase Haul to share with you~ I’m working on getting this blog going, my ideas come faster than I am able to execute them and that is frustrating wtf!!

This is my second order from Kérastase. I have learned it’s worth investing in good haircare! The products I’ve tried so far have convinced me to not go back. Taking care of your hair is way easier when you use quality products that make your hair less tangly and frustrating. Although, I still find a way to incorporate budget haircare into my routine to balance it out. Kérastase products are good for heat styling so I will reserve use of some of these for when I use heat.

I needed an acidic cuticle sealer to help the shine of my hair, plan to use this twice a month. Might try the Joico cuticle sealer next which is cheaper.

 

Masque Ultra Violet Purple Hair Mask

This is supposed to help with brassiness in the hair, although I’ve seen that the amika Bust Your Brass Intense Repair Mask has been able to dramatically reduce brassiness in hair, that one is $10 cheaper although maybe around the same price with the discounts I got.

 

 

Serum Chroma Thermique Hair Serum

I wanted the Defense Thermique Blow Dry Primer since I heard it was good for detangling wet hair but they were sold out, so I settled for this. My hair really likes watery spray primers as a first step in LCO method, it makes my hair more manageable when brushing it out. I’ve had bad luck recently since I keep buying oil sprays which have little to no actual hydration.

I really love this hair oil, it’s one of the best I’ve tried in terms of smoothing out and nourishing my ends. I’ve got a few I need to use up before I get back to this one!

 

 

Nectar Thermique Blow Dry Primer
Price: $36.00
I have the ciment thermique blow dry primer from them and I really love it. It’s the easiest and pleasant to use leave in cream I’ve tried that works best both on wet or dry hair. This one is supposed to be more moisturizing and suitable for dry hair.

 

Masque Cicaextreme Hair Mask
Price: $54.40
This is meant to be a deep conditioning mask for helping to restore hair that is damaged from bleaching. It really can be used by anyone and doesn’t include any agents for bleaching or altering the color of your hair. I’m curious to see how this works for my hair. I ran out of deep conditioning masks so wanted to dry this.
